The Fair Weather Christmas Gift Guide…

Christmas has firmly arrived in the Fair Weather Rider house. Well actually that’s a lie, the Christmas tree isn’t up yet but we’re picking it up on Friday, along with a horse shaped wreath. We have however, broken into the box of Celebrations that were meant for Christmas, whilst listening to a little Wham and Mariah, so basically it’s the same thing. Christmas always seems to be a time of stress for most, but luckily this year, the majority of presents have been bought. We just have Christmas cards to buy and write, a little wrapping to do and we’re good. We can’t wait.

Usually, my biggest stress this time of year surrounds picking presents; what to buy for who and all that. Thankfully, I’ve found the amazing Black Onyx Equestrian have an abundance of treats that I’ve even been able to treat my non-horsey friends to. Let’s take a look…

Ladies Crew Base Layer In Grey – base layers are so in right now. Whether you’re riding, heading to the gym or looking for an extra layer to add to your winter wardrobe, a base layer will serve you well. There’s nothing I love more than a beautiful grey too. Grey goes with everything. Make it pop with a splash of colour added to it, or keep things stylish and on point in this classic shade.

Young Talent Zip Hoodie In Pink – if you’re shopping for the little ones, then the Young Talent Zip Hoodie in pink is stunning. It’s comfy, stylish and the perfect jacket to throw on from the yard to the park. The Young Talent line offers a range of clothes too, from performance tops guaranteed to keep your little one cool during lessons, along with the American football style jackets that can be worn literally anywhere.

Ladies Parka Jacket In Black – winter is officially upon us and although the shortest day of the year will have been and gone in the blink of an eye, the cold weather will be sticking around for quite some time. The ladies parka jacket in black is perfect. With plenty of pockets to keep everything from your phone, wallet and of course a spare hoof pick safe to its showerproof quality, this will become any equestrian’s go to jacket.

Head Band In Black - I’m not sure about you, but I love a baseball cap. The only trouble is that it gives the inevitable hat hair situation. The same goes when wearing your riding hat. So I like to give my hair a break and look good at the same time. The Black Onyx headbands are the perfect solution. Keep your head warm and hide the hideous sweaty hairline as well as the red mark some of us seem to get when the riding hat comes off. Whether you wear your hair down or finish off with a messy bun, the headband always keeps you looking great.

Ok, so this might not be the most versatile Christmas Gift Guide but that’s mostly down to the fact that it’s my own personal wish list, with a request from my daughter thrown in there too. Hopefully when the husband sees this, he’ll get the hint and make my Christmas a magical Black Onyx one…
